Terms of Service
Effective date: 17 October 2026 · Last updated: 17 October 2026
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the Bebiio mobile application and related services (the "Service"), operated by act_outofthe_box ("Bebiio", "we", "us" or "our"). Please read them carefully.
1. Acceptance of Terms
By creating an account or using the Service you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
2. Eligibility and adult account holders
The Service is intended for use by adults, such as parents, legal guardians or other authorized caregivers. You must be of legal age to enter into a binding agreement in your jurisdiction to create and operate an account. Bebiio is not intended for children to independently create or operate accounts. You are responsible for ensuring that you have the appropriate authority to enter and share any information relating to a child.
3. Bebiio service description
Bebiio provides tools to help families record and organize baby and child care information, share within a family, share selected information with healthcare professionals you authorize, and generate reports. Features may change over time (see section 15).
4. Account responsibilities
You are responsible for the information you provide, for keeping your account credentials secure, and for all activity that occurs under your account. You must provide accurate information and keep it up to date. Notify us promptly at support@bebiio.com if you believe your account has been compromised.
5. Child information
You are responsible for the child information you or your authorized family members enter. You are responsible for having the authority to enter, store and share that information, and for deciding with whom it is shared.
6. Family sharing
Bebiio allows you to share information within a family. Members you authorize may be able to view and, depending on their role, edit the family's and children's information. You are responsible for whom you invite and authorize.
7. Doctor and third-party sharing
Bebiio allows you to intentionally share selected information with healthcare professionals or other third parties through the Service's sharing features. You are responsible for deciding whom you authorize and what you share, and for reviewing exported or shared information before sending it elsewhere. Once information is shared outside the Service, its handling by the recipient is outside our control.
8. User-provided content and data
You retain responsibility for the content and data you enter. You grant us the rights necessary to host, process and display that data solely to provide the Service. Bebiio cannot independently verify all user-entered information.
9. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- use the Service unlawfully or to infringe the rights of others;
- attempt to access accounts, families or data you are not authorized to access;
- interfere with, disrupt, reverse-engineer or misuse the Service or its security features;
- enter or share information you do not have the authority to enter or share.
10. Subscription and paid services
Bebiio may offer paid features. Where paid services are offered, payment processing may be handled by the applicable payment platform or payment provider. Where payment is processed by an external provider, Bebiio does not need to receive or store full payment-card credentials. In-app purchases made through the Apple App Store or Google Play are also subject to those platforms' terms.
11. Cancellation and renewal principles
Where you purchase a subscription, cancellation and renewal are governed by the terms of the platform or payment provider through which you purchased, and by any plan terms presented to you at purchase. We will not describe store-specific cancellation behavior that is not part of the Service. If you have questions about a subscription, contact us at support@bebiio.com.
12. Intellectual property
The Service, including its software, design, branding and content (excluding your data), is owned by us or our licensors and is protected by applicable intellectual-property laws. These Terms do not grant you any right to use our trademarks or branding except as necessary to use the Service.
13. Third-party services
The Service relies on third-party services and infrastructure (for example, cloud infrastructure, authentication, messaging and, where applicable, payment providers and the Apple/Google platforms). Your use of third-party services may be subject to their own terms and policies. We are not responsible for third-party services we do not control.
14. Service availability
We make reasonable efforts to operate the Service reliably, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted, error-free or permanently available operation, that notifications will always arrive, that reports or exports will always be available, or that third-party infrastructure will never fail. Do not use Bebiio as your sole repository for information that is critical for medical, safety or legal purposes.
15. Changes to the service
We may add, change or remove features, and may suspend or discontinue parts of the Service. Where changes are material we will take reasonable steps to inform you.
16. Account suspension and termination
We may suspend or terminate access to the Service where reasonably necessary, including where you breach these Terms, where required by law, or to protect the Service or other users. You may stop using the Service at any time and may delete your account.
17. Account deletion
You can use the account deletion functionality available in the app. The implementation removes account-related application data as part of the deletion process, subject to the retention matters described in our Privacy Policy.
18. Medical disclaimer
Bebiio is a baby/child tracking and organizational application. It is not a medical device, medical service, diagnostic tool, a substitute for a doctor or qualified healthcare professional, or an emergency service. Bebiio does not provide medical diagnosis, treatment or medical advice. Consult an appropriate healthcare professional regarding medical concerns.
19. Emergency disclaimer
Bebiio is not an emergency service. For emergencies, contact your local emergency service or healthcare provider immediately. Do not rely on Bebiio for emergency decisions.
20. Accuracy and data responsibility
Information shown by Bebiio may be incomplete, delayed, incorrectly entered, unavailable or affected by technical issues. You are responsible for the accuracy of the records you and your authorized members enter, and for reviewing information before relying on it or sharing it.
21. Disclaimer of warranties
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, the Service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will meet your requirements or be uninterrupted, timely, secure or error-free.
22. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, act_outofthe_box will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for loss or corruption of data, loss of availability of data, service interruption, reliance on user-entered information, actions taken based on tracking information, unauthorized sharing resulting from your own sharing decisions or compromised credentials, or third-party service or platform outages.
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits any liability that cannot legally be excluded or limited under applicable law, including mandatory rights you may have under applicable data-protection law. Nothing in these Terms is intended to disclaim mandatory data-protection obligations.
23. Indemnity
To the extent permitted by applicable law, you agree to indemnify and hold harmless act_outofthe_box from claims arising out of your misuse of the Service, your breach of these Terms, or your violation of the rights of others. This section does not apply to the extent prohibited by applicable law.
24. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Cyprus, without prejudice to mandatory protections available to you under the law of your place of residence. The courts of the Republic of Cyprus will have jurisdiction, subject to any mandatory rules that apply.
25. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. When we make material changes we will take reasonable steps to inform you and update the effective date above. Continued use of the Service after an update means the updated Terms apply.
